Problem
Keeping track of several important documents, such as passports and IDs, presents a problem for frequent travelers and event attendees, which can cause anxiety and even delays. The process of booking travel and buying event tickets can also be complicated and time-consuming when navigating via several sites, which detracts from the whole experience.
Solution
Fast provides a safe, one-stop shop where customers can easily purchase event tickets, schedule flights, and digitally store their passports and IDs. Fast streamlines the procedure, lowers anxiety, and offers a simplified, user-friendly experience that meets the needs of contemporary travelers and social enthusiasts by combining these features into a single app.
Design Process
My design process for Fast focused on creating a secure yet intuitive experience that balances robust security with ease of use. The challenge was to make identity verification feel both trustworthy and effortless.
Research & Discovery
I conducted interviews with frequent travelers, event attendees, and security professionals to understand pain points in identity verification. I also analyzed existing digital ID solutions and security protocols to identify opportunities for innovation while maintaining trust.
Ideation & Prototyping
Based on research insights, I developed user personas and journey maps focusing on security concerns and convenience needs. I created wireframes and interactive prototypes for key user flows, including document scanning, verification, and the line-skipping process.
Testing & Iteration
I conducted usability testing with 15 participants across different age groups and technical proficiency levels. Security perception was a key focus area, with special attention to how design elements affected users' trust in the app. Multiple iterations refined the interface to balance security cues with ease of use.
Final Design & Delivery
I finalized the UI design system with a focus on security-enhancing visual cues and clear information hierarchy. The final deliverables included high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, design specifications, and security guidelines for the development team.

Fast successfully addresses the challenges of identity management and verification by providing a secure, user-friendly platform. User testing showed that 92% of participants felt confident in the app's security while appreciating the convenience of skipping lines. The app has been adopted by several major airports and venues, significantly reducing wait times and improving customer experience.
