What is Homee app?
Is a Smart Home app that allows users to control anything in their home. As long as the desired technology has wifi OR bluetooth capabilities you can add to the app and control it from any smart phone you would like.
Problem
Managing a smart home sometimes entails switching between several applications and devices, which may be frustrating and ineffective. By offering a single, user-friendly platform that effortlessly connects all smart home appliances, Homee seeks to address this issue by streamlining the user experience and improving home automation.
Solution
With only one user-friendly software to connect all of your smart devices, Homee streamlines the administration of your smart home. Homee's user-friendly interfaces, customizable controls, and flawless synchronization make it simple to automate and manage your home effectively, increasing user pleasure and convenience.
Design Process
My human-centered design approach focused on creating an intuitive and delightful experience for smart home users. I followed a structured process to ensure I addressed real user needs while maintaining technical feasibility.
01. Research & Discovery
I conducted in-depth interviews with 15 smart home users to understand their needs, pain points, and expectations. My competitive analysis revealed opportunities to simplify the complex ecosystem of smart home control.
02. Ideation & Prototyping
Based on my research insights, I developed user personas and journey maps to guide my design decisions. I then created wireframes and interactive prototypes to test my concepts with users before moving to high-fidelity designs.
03. Testing & Iteration
I conducted usability testing with 8 participants to validate my design solutions. Based on user feedback, I iterated on my designs to improve usability and address pain points.
04. Final Design & Delivery
I finalized the UI design system, ensuring consistency across all screens and components. The final deliverables included high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and design documentation.
